Safety
Driving Standards: Responsible driving is a cornerstone of our championship. It is fundamental to our continued success. To encourage the highest of driving standards we have developed a simple drivers’ code of conduct which we expect all drivers to adhere to. On the rare occasion that individual driving standards begin to slip, we have a simple process for helping drivers to recognise their shortcomings and encourage them to return to an acceptable standard of driving. The drivers’ code of conduct together with the process for addressing any slippage is set out in the following document. Driving Standards
Track Limits: The rules are clear and the Blue Book states that you are deemed to have exceeded track limits “If any wheel of the car either goes beyond the outer edge of any kerb or goes beyond the white line where there is no kerb” Here is an example of exceeding track limits. Exceeding track limits
Car Preparation: Carrying out thorough and routine checks on our cars, both before and during race weekends helps to maintain the highest of safety standards. Many drivers entrust this critical activity to experienced car preparers however drivers who carry out the checks themselves may find the following checklists of use. These are general checklists and should be adjusted by individual drivers to match the specific characteristics of their car. Click here to view checklists
